Advertising Potential in North Sumatera

Association of Press Publisher (SPS) in North Sumatera initiated a Advertising Workshop with the big theme “Creative Ad and Province Ad Potential”. This event was held on 29 April in Garuda Plaza Hotel, Medan.

This was the first time, and North Sumatera’s SPS cooperated with SPS in Jakarta to organize this workshop. There were 48 participants who followed and they were from advertising departments from whole print medias in North Sumatera.

According to Vice Secretary of North Sumatera SPS, Zultaufik Nasution, the ad competitions in North Sumatera’s print media were so tiered. There were media that got big ads, in another side, there media that got only few ads.

 “Through this workshop, we expect to increase the human resources in ad departments, so they can encompass a good ad for newspaper,” said Zultaufik. This workshop was expected to push ads growth for press publisher, especially in North Sumatera.

North Sumatera SPS cooperated with Central SPS to invite experienced sources. They were Krismoerwanto from Jawa Pos Group and CEO of Star Media Group, Iskandar ST. (SIS/ella)
