The 3rd FEKSI 2013 at PALEMBANG

The third Economic Creative Festival (FEKSI) for Senior High School Students was held again at Palembang. This event occured on 16 April in Graha Pupuk Sriwijaya. FEKSI is a collaboration event managed by Association of Press Publisher (SPS) with The Ministry of Trade.

This debate competition was followed by 21 teams from 12 schools. The juries are, Dr. Hj. Tien Yustini, SE, Msi (Academics ofSTIE Gotong Royong), Ali Syahbana (Media Radar Palembang), and Hasannuri. Ar (practision, Vice Chairman of South SumateraTrade Room and Industry), finally decided Senior High School (SMA) 6 Palembang as the winner. This team will represent South Sumatera in FEKSI 2013 Grand Final in Jakarta on the next November.

The SMA 6 members are Leni Shofiani,Khoirun Nisa’, and Siti Agus Riantina. They successly defeated their two strongest rivals, SMA Plus 17 Palembang (Wiena Maulidia Respati, Izzaty Zephaniah, dan Faturahman Mahista) dan SMA Sampoerna Academy Palembang (Alief Agung Nauval, Feri Listio, dan Arjun Saka Agung).

Since the elimination session, SMA 6 Palembang always got the highest ratings, and finally they became the best. Even in the final session, the difference point between SMA 6 and the runner up SMA Plus 17 Palembang was only 0.9. The competition between these two schools were strict.

Even SMA Plus 17 Palembang and SMA Sampoerna Academy Palembang were not the first winner, their fight had to be appreciated. They were able to give their best fight to SMA 6 Palembang team.

And here are the top 10 schools from the 4^th to 10^th. They are SMA Plus Plus 17 Palembang Team B, SMA Xaverius I Palembang, SMA Sampoerna Academy Team B, SMA 5 Palembang Team A, SMA 3 Palembang Team A, SMA 3 Palembang Team B, and SMA 1 Palembang Team B. *anneila
